DURANGO, COLORADO
Durango Colorado is the quintessential Colorado town. Located in the Southwest corner of the state, its 6,512 foot elevation offers four distinct seasons and over 300 days of sunshine a year. Durango offers great shopping, galleries and fine dining while still maintaining it's small town casual charm. Recreational activities are abundant, including The Durango Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, river rafting, fishing, hunting, camping, golf courses, cycling, hiking, climbing and skiing and snowboarding at the newly renovated Durango Mountain Resort. Durango is also home to many events and festivals, including our annual July 4th Celebration, Fiesta Days Rodeo and Snowdown Winter Festival to name a few. Durango is also home to Fort Lewis College... Colorado's Campus in the Sky. Also nearby are Mesa Verde National Park, and the mountain towns of Pagosa Springs and historic Silverton. Durango is a great place to live, work, raise a family, invest or purchase a second home.
